From Lake Placid, USA
Chris Spring is back. Just a few months ago a vicious wreck in training took Chris Spring out of action for the bulk of the World Cup tour and today marked the return of the Canadian pilot.
Spring finished heat 1 in fourth, behind Dutch slider Ivo de Bruin and American pilots Codie Bascue and Nick Cunningham, but rallied back with the fastest slide of the day, taking the gold medal with it. de Bruin would take silver, while Cunningham finishes with bronze.
Bascue takes fourth, while teammate Jake Peterson finished seventh. Spring’s teammate Christopher Korol finishes eleventh.
