(December 18, 2021) – Taylor Austin edged out Americans Tyler Hickey and Frank Del Duca in a one heat race in the sixth race of the North American Cup four-man bobsled program.
The race was a one-heat race, and in it Taylor Austin took the lead from the fourth starting spot, jumping ahead of Hickey. Austin would hold off a late run by Frank Del Duca to win his fifth four-man race in six attempts on the season.
Hickey took silver, just .08 back, with Del Duca receiving bronze, only .1 from gold.
Brazil’s Edson Bindilatti finished fourth, just .02 ahead of China’s Kaizhi Sun in fifth. Youngjin Suk finished sixth for Korea.
