From La Plagne, FRA
(December 2, 2021) – Matthew Greiner won the Junior World Cup season opener in La Plagne, cruising to gold in France.
The American slider set the two fastest times of the race on his way to a .2 second victory over Austria’s Noah Kallan. Germany’s Timon Grancagnolo finished third, .358 out of gold.
Russia’s Eduard Aleksandrov finished fourth, over a half of a second behind Greiner, while Austria’s Florian Tanzer and Germany’s Pascal Kunze rounded out the top six.
American Hunter Harris just missed out on a top ten with an 11th place finish, while teammate Michael O’Gara finished in 13th.
