From Altenberg, GER
(November 27, 2021) – Richard Oelsner won his second gold in as many days, winning in a close race in Altenberg.
Oelsner set the quick time in the first heat, .17 ahead of teammate Jonas Jannusch. On the second run it was Alexey Stulnev with the quick time to move into the lead with Jannusch and Oelsner to go. Jannusch fell back to tie Stulnev with his run.
That left Richard Oelsner, who set the second quick time of the heat, but enough to take four-man gold one day after winning two-man gold.
Vyacheslav Popov finished fourth, .04 ahead of Nico Semmler in fifth, Cedric Follador rounded out the top six.
