From Park City, USA
(November 19, 2021) – Germany’s Felix Seibel won in his first ever race in Park City, winning the fourth race of the North American Cup skeleton program.
Seibel beat out teammate Lukas Nydegger and Russia’s Daniil Romanov, who tied for silver. After one heat Seibel was tied with Nydegger, but in the second run it was all Seibel as he took a .2 second victory over the field.
The United States’ Andrew Blaser finished fourth, ahead of Vladislav Marchenkov of Russia and Nathan Crumpton.
Two-time NAC champion Ander Mirambell finished seventh.
Daniel Barefoot helped put two Americans in the top ten with a nith place effort, while Stephen Garbett finished 14th. Darryl Payne finished 31st in his first NAC race.
The Canadian men couldn’t match the success of their women’s skeleton counterparts. David Park led the way in 16th, just ahead of Jimmie Airey and Kyle Donsberger in 19th and 20th, respectively. Blake Enzie finished 25th.
