From Whistler, CAN
(November 14, 2021) – Taylor Austin once again won gold in Whistler, sliding to his sixth straight victory to start the season.
Austin opened up a .32 second lead over Youngjin Suk and .33 over Frank Del Duca after the first heat. On the second run it was more of the same, with Austin pacing well ahead of anyone else on his way to a .57 second victory over Del Duca.
The gold for Austin was his sixth straight to start the season, matching three four-man gold medals with three two-man golds.
Del Duca took silver, .06 ahead of Suk in the bronze medal position.
Edson Bindilatti finished fourth for the third time in three races, while Tyler Hickey and Drazen Silic rounded out the top six.
