From Whistler, CAN
(November 13, 2021) – Alysia Rissling won gold again in Whistler, once again edging out Brittany Reinbolt for top honors.
Rissling carried just a .03 second advantage over Reinbolt into the second heat. On the second run Reinbolt easily moved into the lead with only Rissling to go. Rissling was behind Reinbolt at nearly every split until the finish, where she edged out the American by .02 on the run and .05 overall.
The win for Rissling was her fifth straight between monobob and two-woman bobsled.
Rissling’s Bianca Ribi tied Rissling’s second run time to solidify her spot in third.
Jazmine Fenlator-Victorian finished fourth, and Canada’s Emily Pickett finished fifth.
