(November 13, 2021) – Stephanie Schneider and brakewoman Claudia Schüßler won gold in Lillehammer, easily beating the field.
The Germans had the fastest starts in both heats, and were the quickest in both heats on their way to a .65 second victory over teammate Lisa Buckwitz.
The gold was Schneider’s third straight after winning back-to-back golds in monobob action earlier in the week.
Buckwitz finished second, well ahead of Russia’s Alena Osipenko in third.
Anne Lobenstein, Georgeta Popescu, and Lidiia Hunko rounded out the six sled field.
