(November 9, 2021) – Canada’s Alysia Rissling continued her strong start to the 2021/2022 season with her third straight North American Cup monobob victory.
Unlike the previous two races, Rissling’s margin of victory was within one second, with the 2018 Olympian edging out teammate Bianca Ribi by .18 seconds for gold, with Ribi taking silver.
In Rissling’s previous two wins, the average margin of victory had been 1.5 seconds.
Brittany Reinbolt finished third, well ahead of fourth place Jazmine Fenlator-Victorian, with Carrie Russell and Marina Silva Tuono rounding out the top six.
The United States’ Nicole Vogt crashed in her first run and did not finish.
