(November 8, 2021) – Nicole Silveira continued her strong start to the 2021/2022 season with a second straight win in North American Cup action.
The Brazilian set the two quickest times of the race on her way to gold.
Canada’s Madi Charney finished second, a half of a second back behind Silveira. Charney’s two runs were faster than any run other than the two of Silveira.
Haillie Clarke finished third, .45 behind Charney. The two Canadian women finished in third and second, respectively, in the previous day’s action.
American Savannah Graybill finished fourth for the second time in two races, well ahead of Latvia’s Darta Zunte in fifth. Grace Dafoe helped put three Canadian sleds in the top six with a sixth place effort.
Sara Roderick gave the United States two top ten finishes with a tenth place run, one spot ahead of Canada’s Natalie Coughlin in 11th.
Amelia Coltman finished eighth as the lone entry for Great Britain, while Katie Tannenbaum finished 14th for the US Virgin Islands.
