Jan. 22, 2021 – Nicole Vogt won her second straight women’s bobsled race, once again setting the fast time in both heats on her way to victory.
Unlike the previous day’s event, Vogt only won by .36 over teammate Brittany Reinbolt. In the first heat Vogt opened up a .11 second advantage over Reinbolt. On the second run Reinbolt put down a 50.72 that was bested only by Vogt’s 50.13 to give Vogt the gold.
The gold and silver for Vogt and Reinbolt were both their second in as many days.
Riley Compton finished third, four seconds back. Jamaica’s Carrie Russell finished fourth.
