The top three after heat 1 in four-man is about as tight as can be.  Manuel Machata leads teammate Max Arndt by all of .02 seconds.  Alexsandr Zubkov is third, only .07 back.  If they finish this way in the second heat, Zubkov will be the four-man tour champion.

Canadian Lyndon Rush is fourth, just .03 ahead of Oskar Melbardis, while Van Calker and Maskalans are tied for sixth, .13 behind Melbardis.

The second Canadian sled, piloted by Justin Kripps, is in a tie for tenth, while the rookie American duo of Cory Butner and Nick Cunningham are 15th and 18th respectively.
