Beat Hefti had decent runs throughout the season, winning often but never in real dominating fashion. Same story tonight, he beats out Manuel Machata by .01 to take the gold, and with it the overall season title. Macahata finishes second, just ahead of Max Arndt in third.
The top Canadian team, led by Lyndon Rush, finishes just off the podium in fourth. The field was packed at the top, and Rush was able to beat out Alexsandr Zubkov and Oscar Melbardis, who finish fifth and sixth respectively.
Americans Cory Butner and Nick Cunningham finish 13th and 15th respectively, while Canadian Justin Kripps finishes 8th.
