(Dec. 10, 2020) The International Bobsleigh and Skeleton Federation announced their dates for the 2020/2021 IBSF North American Cup tour, with races on all three active North American tracks.
The season will kick off in the first week of January in Lake Placid with a full schedule of events, with double races in two-man, four-man, women’s bob, men’s and women’s skeleton, and the
Monobob World Series. The tour will then move to Park City at the end of the month for the next round of events. The tour will conclude a month later with another set of races in Whistler.
Like the European Cup, NAC bobsled and skeleton races will be held separately, though in the same location. Bobsled will race to open things up, then skeleton will race the following week. That schedule will repeat throughout the tour.
A detailed schedule will be announced shortly, but below is the current general schedule.
January 4-11 – Lake Placid Bobsled
January 11-16 – Lake Placid Skeleton
January 17-24 – Park City Bobsled
January 24-29 – Park City Skeleton
February 28-March 8 – Whistler Bobsled
March 8-14 – Whistler Skeleton
