From St. Moritz, Switzerland
The team of Humphries/Baadsvik came into the second Women’s Bobsled run as the leaders, but only with a .01 lead. A bumpy run knocked the CAN1 sled back to fourth, leading to a sweep by the Germans.
Schneiderheinze/Thöne take the win in GER3, with Martini/Tischer second and Kiriasis/Bertels third. The Russian sled Tambovtsev/Udobkina finish fifth.
Two American sleds find themselves in the top 10, with Fenlator/Werth in USA3 8th and Meyers/Azevedo in USA1 9th. The Schaaf/Eberling USA2 sled put down a superb second run, which hopefully will give the team some momentum coming into the North American swing in two weeks.
