FIBT World Cup – Round 3 – Women’s Skeleton

From Winterberg, Germany

Canadian Amy Gough came into today’s final run looking for clear skies for once.  Over the past weekend Mother Nature hadn’t been very good to the skeleton athletes.  Gough got her wish, and set the gold winning time, ahead of Germans Heinz and Thees.

“The weather cooperated today, I feel fantastic,” said Gough of the day.

Americans Katie Uhlaender and Anne O’Shea finished 5th and 9th, while Canadian Sarah Reid finished 8th.
