From Winterberg, Germany
It seemed as though the GER-3 sled of Schneiderheinze/Thöne just needed a clean run to take gold. Mother Nature changed those plans, however, and the team of Martini/Tischer in GER-2 take gold.
The wind picked up, and many of the fast sliders from run one fell back, with CAN-1 falling all the way back to 10th. That allowed the USA-1 sled of Meyers/Eberling to move to fourth place, just barely off the podium.
