(Jan. 13, 2019) – Hunter Church came from behind to win his second 4-man race of the North American Cup season, edging out teammate Geoff Gadbois in the process.
Church came into the final run of the NAC season just .04 behind Gadbois. Church’s second run was the best of the heat, and enough to edge out Gadbois by .17 to win gold.
Behind the two Americans, Christopher Spring and Lamin Deen were battling for the North American Cup title. With .04 separating the two men, Deen needed to stay ahead of Spring to win the championship. Spring’s second run was enough to be the third quickest (behind the two Americans). Deen’s second run was .07 slower, giving Spring the North American Cup 4-man title by a total of eight points.
Taylor Austin and Tyler Hickey rounded out the six sled field.
