FIBT World Cup – Round 2 – Women’s Bobsled

From La Plagne, France

If there was any Women’s Bobsled record left to hold in France today, it’s gone.  The Katie Humphries CAN 1 sled demolished the previous record by over a half second with a 1:01.18 in the second run to win today’s event from La Plagne, France.

The top eight sleds all broke the previous track record, while the USA 1 sled of Elana Meyers and Katie Eberling obliterated the start record as well with an impressive 6.40.  They would go on to finish 8th.
