From Igls, Austria
There was no beating Beat Hefti today. His first run of the day was one of the fastest all day, and though his second run was only second quickest of the heat, it was still enough to put his SUI 1 sled to the gold medal platform. Thomas Florschuetz and GER 1 leapfrogged Steve Holcomb and Oskars Mebardis for silver, while Steve Holcomb in USA 1 finished third.
