2017 IBSF World Championships – Weekend 1 Calendar & Start Lists

The 2017 edition of the IBSF World Championships kicks off in Königssee on Friday. Over the first three days, women’s bobsled, two-man bobsled, and the team competition will all be in action.

This weekend’s race will be the only time for the team competition this season for the IBSF, with teams consisting of a men’s and women’s skeleton athlete, combined with a two-man and women’s bobsled. Start lists for that event will be available later in the weekend.

The weekend’s competition will kick off on Friday morning with women’s bobsled running their first two heats. Saturday will see the first two heats of two-man bobsled, and the conclusion of the women’s bobsled championships. Sunday’s schedule will see the conclusion of two-man bobsled, and the team competition. The full schedule and start list is below, all times ET:

Friday (Feb. 17):
Women’s Bobsled Heats 1 & 2: 8:15 AM / 10:00 AM

Saturday (Feb. 18):
Two-Man Bobsled Heats 1 & 2: 4:30 AM / 6:00 AM
Women’s Bobsled Heats 3 & 4: 9:15 AM / 10:45 AM

Sunday (Feb. 19):
Two-Man Bobsled Heats 3 & 4: 4:30 AM / 6:00 AM
Team Competition: 9:00 AM
