There were eight races in the IBSF World Cup season, and Martins Dukurs won seven of them. The final race of the season was no different, with the Latvian winning by over a half-second. Korean Sungbin Yun finished second, edging Tomass Dukurs for silver, with Tomass finishing in the bronze medal position.
Axel Jungk was the top-finishing German in fourth, edging Dom Parsons of Great Britain and Kilian von Schhleinitz, who finished fifth and sixth, respectively.
The win hands Martins Dukurs his seventh consecutive World Cup title, ahead of Sungbin Yun and Tomass Dukurs. Axle Jungk, and Dom Parsons finished fourth and fifth on the season.
Matt Antoine led the way for the United States in seventh place with two very nice runs down the Bavarian track despite two frustratingly slow starts. The seventh place finish helped put Antoine in sixth place on the overall World Cup season. Teammate Nathan Crumpton finished 19th to finish up his first World Cup season.
Barrett Martineau led the way for Canada with a tenth place finish. Dave Greszczyszyn picked up a spot from his first run to finish 12th.
