From St. Moritz, SUI
Once again, Martins Dukurs has found himself atop the podium. The Latvian came into the second heat a few tenths up on Sungbin Yun. He pulled away in the second heat to win by .6 over the Korean. Yun was miles away better than everyone except for Dukurs, and easily took silver, ahead of Nikita Tregybov of Russia. Tregybov edged Dom Parsons, after the British slider was late out of a few corners to scrub off some speed. Tomass Dukurs took fifth.
Matt Antoine led the way for the United States.He came into his second heat tied for 11th,and held that position to finished just outside the Top 10. Kyle Brown had his best finish of the World Cup season in 16th, while Kyle Tress finished 26th.
It was a big day for World Cup rookie Evan Neufeldt. He led the way for Canada in eighth place. Teammates Dave Greszczyszyn took 13th, while Barrett Martineau finished 22nd. Ed Smith fought injury to finish 23rd for Great Britain.
