The FIBT has announced the 2014/2015 World Cup schedule for the coming season. As usual, the ICC, EC and NAC schedules are still up in the air, and this schedule should likely be viewed as tentative.
Some items of note: There’s only two races in North America, down from three in the past few seasons. La Plagne is back on the schedule, hosting the European Championship event, and Sochi has the last race before the World Championships in Winterberg.
Here’s the current 2014/2015 FIBT World Cup schedule:
- Dec. 12-14: Lake Placid, USA
- Dec. 19-21: Calgary, Canada
- Jan. 09-11: Altenberg, Germany
- Jan. 16-18: Königssee, Germany
- Jan. 23-25: St. Moritz, Switzerland
- Jan. 30- Feb. 1: La Plagne, France (European Championship)
- Feb. 06-08: Igls, Austria
- Feb. 13-15: Sochi, Russia
- Feb. 23-Mar. 8: Winterberg, Germany (World Championships)
