It was the same names on the women’s bobsled podium, but with a new name at the top. Elana Meyers took gold in Park City today, edging Kaillie Humphries by .13 seconds. Humphries came into the second heat up only a hundredth of a second, and was bested by a near-flawless run by Meyers. Humphries would take silver, while Jamie Greubel of the US took her second bronze of the year. Jazmine Fenlator comes back after a tough showing last week to finish fourth, while Cathleen Martini could only muster a fifth place finish.
Paula Walker led the way for Great Britain in eighth place, while teammates Victoria Olaoye and Mica McNeill finished 18th and 19th, and Canadian Jennifer Ciochetti took 15th.
