2012/2013 FIBT World Cup – Women’s Bobsled – Heat 1

From Sochi, Russia

Sandra Kirasis leads the way after heat 1 in Sochi.  She’s barely ahead of fellow German Cathleen Martini and Canadian Kaillie Humphries, with .08 from first to third.  Elana Meyers has a start record, but has .09 to make it to the bronze medal position, while Fabienne Meyer sits fifth.

All three USA sleds are in the top 10, with Jamie Greubel eighthand Jazmine Fenlator ninth.  Jennifer Ciochetti sits 11th in the second Canadian sled, while a skiddy first heat for British pilot Paula Walker puts her 13th.  Teammate Victoria Olaoye is 19th after a very bumpy second run.
