(January 19, 2025) – For the second time in two days, Charlotte Candrix out-drove the field on her way to a two-woman bobsled victory in Lillehammer.
Candrix held a slim .09 second lead over Inola Blatty after the first heat, with Maureen Zimmer back in third.
Candrix and brakewoman Mira Baus found an extra two tenths of a second in their second start, and Candrix had another smooth and quick drive on her way to a .29 second victory over Blatty and Noemi Beutler.
The win was the fourth straight in two-woman bobsled for Candrix.
Blatty and brakewoman Noemi Beutler won silver, while Maureen Zimmer and Carolin Kupsch bronze.
Selina Isler and Lia Flattich were fourth, ahead of Simona de Silvestro and Giulia Chenet in fifth.
Patricia Tajcnarova and Kristyna Migova were sixth.
