2013 FIBT World Championships – Women’s Bobsled – Heat 2

From St. Moritz, Switzerland

Defending champion Kaillie Humphries has been in her own world for the bulk of the 2012/2013 season, and World Championships seems to not be much different.  Humphries will go into tomorrow’s women’s bobsled final two runs with a .12 advantage over Anja Schneiderheinze.  Schneiderheinze’s near-perfect run passes Elana Meyers, who only had a couple small wall-taps on the way down.  It’s just .6 from second to third, and .18 from first to third.  Germans Cathleen Martini and Sandra Kirasis round out the top five.

A huge push and a clean run moved American Jazmine Fenlator up two spots to eighth, while teammate Jamie Greubel moved up one spot to 12th.  British slider Paula Walker sits 11th, while teammates Olaoye and McNeill will go into tomorrow 19th and 20th.  Canadian Jennifer Ciochetti is 18th.
