(December 7, 2024) – Kris Horn and his team of Hakeem Abdul-Saboor, Hunter Powell, and Adrian Adams slid to victory in the fourth race of the 2024/2025 North American Cup season.
Horn slid to the lead by .09 over Geoff Gadbois, with Brazil’s Edson Bindilatti in third.
In the second heat, Bindilatti took the lead from Canada’s Pat Norton by over .3. From there, Gadbois took over by .12 with only Horn to go.
Horn and his squad pushed .03 quicker than their first effort, and Horn was .02 faster than his first drive on his way to a gold medal by .26 over Gadbois, with Bindilatti third.
Norton tied with Trinidad and Tobago’s Axel Brown for fourth, with Canada’s Jay Dearborn in sixth.
Canada’s Cyrus Gray finished seventh, USA’s Shane Fisher and Grady Mercher eighth and ninth, respectively, with Cam Scott, Kitthamet Palakai and Rhys Peters rounding out the 12 sled field.
After four races in the 2024/2025 North American Cup season, Edson Bindilatti leads Cyrus Gray and Jay Dearborn of Canada. Grady Mercer and Cam Scott round out the top five.
