Wesenberg Wins 4th Straight NAC Gold

From Park City, USA

(December 7, 2024) – Kendall Wesenberg stayed perfect since returning to action after over 600 days away, as she took her fourth straight North Amercian Cup skeleton gold medal, well ahead of anyone else.

Wesenberg’s starts were both in the top five of the competition, and both downtimes were the quickest of the race on her way to a 1.81 second victory to remain perfect on the NAC season.

Behind her, the US Virgin Islands’ Katie Tannenbaum put down a pair of quick runs to stay well ahead of anyone else for her second straight silver and fourth straight medal to start the NAC in her comeback from a season off.

The United States’ Hannah Gaskins took bronze, her first.

The United States placed five sliders in the top six, with Lisel Baker in fourth, Logan Wudi in fifth, and Sha’Londa Terry sixth.

The Canadian women were ninth through 13th.  Mackenzie Adams led the way, with Madeleine Parra, Nicole Jones, Emily Bateman, and Julia Hamilton rounding out the field.

At the halfway point of the 2024/2025 North American Cup skeleton season, Kendall Wesenberg has a 40 point lead over Katie Tannenbaum. Laura Vargas is third, with Logan Wudi and Liesel Baker rounding out the top five.
