Canada Remains Dominant in NAC Two-Woman

From Whistler, CAN

(November 26, 2024) – It was more of the same for Canada on their home ice in Whistler, as the team of Bianca Ribi and Niamh Haughey led Canadian sweep of the top four spots on Tuesday.

Ribi and Haughey had the quick start in both heats, and backed those up with the quick downtime in both heats on their way to a .42 second victory over teammates Erica Voss and Eden Wilson.

The order of the four-sled sleep was the same as Monday’s race, with Kristen Bujnowski and Charlotte Ross taking the final podium spot, and Mackenzie Stewart and Morgan Ramsay the first duo off the podium in fourth.

Riley Tejcek once again finished fifth on the day. Teammed up with Hannah Beattie, the duo were 2.5 seconds off of Ribi’s downtime.

Agnese Campeol and Phaethong Wanakhot finished sixth for Thailand in their second race as a duo.

Lauren Brzozowski and Dominique Biron scored a DSQ after a runner on their sled came off mid-run. The Americans finished their run, but were disqualified due to missing a piece of their sled.
