2012/2013 FIBT World Cup - Round 7 - Women's Skeleton

Noelle Pikus-Pace is back on the top of a World Cup podium for the first time in nine years. Two quick runs by Pikus-Pace, combined with a rough final run for Canadian Sarah Reidl puts Pikus-Pace back at the top, just seven races into her first season back after retirement. Reid drops to fifth, giving Marion Thees and Anja Huber silver and bronze. Mellisa Hollingsworth leapfrogs her teammate as well, while Sophia Griebel takes sixth for Geramny.

The 2012 World Champion, Katie Uhlaender, finishes 9th after a tough first run through a very snowy course. Shelley Rudman is feeling better and back on form, she finishes seventh for Great Britain, while teammate Lizzy Yarnold picks up over a second on her second run for 11th. Cassie Hawrysh finishes 14th for Canada.
