2012/2013 FIBT World Cup – Round 5 – Women’s Bobsled – Heat 1

From La Plagne, France

The track has slowed up even more since this morning’s Men’s Skeleton race, but Kaillie Humphries is still fast.  The Canada 1 pilot leads a pair of American sleds by .20 and .24 respectively.  Jamie Greubel is just a tick ahead of Elana Meyers after Meyers had a slight skid in the uphill portion of the track to scrub off a bit of time.  The teams of Kiriasis/Wiacker and Hengster/Versen sit fourth and fifth after the first heat.

American Jazmine Fenlator is 9th after a bumpy first run, while Jennifer Ciochetti sits 12th for the Canadians.  Paula Walker sits 10th for Great Britain.
