(December 9, 2023) – Elisa-Marie Storch and Pauline Patz had the two fast runs of the women’s doubles race on their way to a victory in Canada.
The German duo had a nearly two tenths lead over Ember-Lee Susko and Beattie Podulsky after one run. In the second heat the Canadians kept it close, but the Germans were able to hold them off to win their second gold in a row.
Susko and Podulsky kept it close but finished second, while Ukraine’s Khytrenko and Viktoriia Koval finished third.
