From Whistler, CAN
(December 3, 2023) – Canada’s Melissa Lotholz and Alex Klein had the two quickest starts of the race and were quickest at every split in both heats on their way to a commanding victory in Whistler.
The duo finished their first heat in the North American Cup two-woman event .37 ahead of teammates Mackenzie Stewart and Caelan Brown, with Slovakia’s Viktoria Cernanska and Lucia Mokrasova in third, .84 back.
In the second heat it was more of the same, with Lotholz piloting to victory ahead of Stewart and Cernanska.
Erica Voss helped put all Canadian sleds in the top four in fourth, while the United States’ Lauren Brzozowski and Sylvia Hoffman ending the day in fifth and sixth, respectively.
