From Lake Placid, USA
(March 27, 2023) – Frank Del Duca and his four-man team beat out teammate Zach Snyder for gold in the final four-man race of the season.
Del Duca’s squad gave him the two quickest pushes to off the top and Del Duca had the two quick drives of the race on his way to a 1.14 second victory over Snyder.
The field was cut to two sleds after a combination of injuries and broken equipment left Bryan Berghorn, Hunter Church, Pat Norton, and Hans Peter Hannighofer on the sidelines.
The victory for Del Duca gave him the two-man overall title, but the combined title went to Norton.
