(January 20, 2023) – Giada Andreutti won gold in Sigulda in a light women’s monobob field.
The Italian had just a .01 lead over Poland’s Linda Weiszewski, but put down the quickest run of the race in the second heat to eventually win by over a half of a second over the Polish slider.
Robin Post of the Netherlands won bronze, a career-best. Julia Slupecka and Lauren Djolo rounded out the five sled field.
