From Pyeongchang, KOR
(December 17, 2022) – Hayoon Kim slid to victory in Pyeongchang, edging out Bokeun Kim for top honors.
Hayoon opened up a nearly .3 second advantage over Bokeun in the first heat. On the second run the two sliders nearly tied, with Hayoon edging out Bokeun by .004 in the heat to win by .288 overall.
Thailand’s Thiraphat Sata finished third, over two seconds off the pace, while Jihun Yu and Jaeseong Bae finished fourth and fifth for Korea.
