Sarah Pflaume and Lina Petersheim won gold in the season opener for youth women’s doubles luge in Sigulda.
Plflaume and Petersheim were the quickest in both heats on their way to a .6 second victory over teammates Bierast and Claus.
Oberstolcz and Kofler of Italy finished third, with Latvians Pole and Bogdanova finished fourth.
