From Lillehammer, NOR
(December 3, 2022) – Germany edged out Latvia to win the first Junior World Cup team competition of the season.
Of the three disciplines, it was Antonia Pietschmann of Germany that carried the team on her shoulders. Her time of 52.941 was enough to overcome the deficit her teammates Marco Leger and the duo of Jäger and Steudte put down behind her.
Latvia finished second, though both their men and doubles teams did out-slide the Germans. Austria finished third.
Ukraine, Czechia, and USA rounded out the six team field.
