Igls Sprint World Cup (#2) Results

From Igls, AUT

Jan. 24, 2021 – Below are the results for the third and final Sprint World Cup event of the 2020/2021 FIL World Cup season.

Men’s Luge

The Sprint World Cup is the one race that has caused Felix Loch any sort of trouble in the 2020/2021 season, and once again gold evaded him in the event.

Loch had already secured the overall World Cup title coming into the race, having won all but one race: A Sprint World Cup race in Winterberg. Once again he couldn’t find the top of the Sprint podium, as Semen Pavlichenko tolk gold just ahead of Kevin Fischnaller of Italy.

Loch settled for third, giving him a gold, a bronze, and a fifth place finish on the Sprint Cup season.

David Gleirscher finished fourth, matching his finish in the prevoius day’s World Cup race, while Max Langenhan and Dominik Fischnaller rounded out the top six.
