From Umhausen, AUT
Feb. 15, 2020 – Thomas Kammerlander came into the season finale needing to win to secure a World Cup title, and luckily for him that finale was in Umhausen, a track he’d multiple gold medals on before.

Kammerlander was up to the task, coming back from a .05 deficit to win gold and wrap up the 2019/2020 World Cup title. The Austrian threw down the fastest run of the race, and the only one under 1:13 to finish .17 ahead of teammate Michael Scheikl.
Scheikl’s effort, while not enough to overtake Kammerlander for the top spot, was enough to finish ahead of Patrick Pigneter for silver and pass Pigneter in the season points by five.
Pigneter finished third, both in the race and in the season points. Teammate Alex Gruber finished in fourth in both the race and the season points.
Aleksandr Egorov and Stefan Federer rounded out the top six in the race, while Grigory Bukin and Egorov rounded out the top six in the overall standings.
