Dec. 14, 2019 – Laura Nolte won her second career IBSF European Cup gold medal in Winterberg, cruising to victory by .71 over teammate Anna Köhler.
Nolte and brakewoman Deborah Levi were the fastest off the top, and quickest at every split on their way gold.
Köhler held off two solid runs by Romanian standout Andreea Grecu to win silver, while Grecu took bronze.
Anne Lobenstein helped put three German sleds in the top four with a fourth place run, missing out on bronze by just .01. An Vannieuwenhuyse finished just .04 out of the medals in fifth, while Margot Bosh finished sixth.
British slider Mica McNeill finished seventh, while Olympic gold medalist brakewoman Lisa buckwitz finished eighth.
