From Park City, USA
Dec. 11, 2019 – Canada’s Taylor Austin won his second gold medal on the strength of his second run in Race 3 of the North American Cup 4-man program. The gold was his second career NAC gold medal in 4-man bobsled.
With three races on the docket for the North American Cup stop in Park City, the IBSF has counted the second run of the two-heat race as its own race, giving Austin the win, and the United States’ Nick Cunningham silver.
The top five from the first race remained the same as the second race, with Israel’s Dave Nicholls moving up to sixth from seventh.
