Dec. 10, 2019 – Kristi Koplin won her third straight North American Cup gold in Park City, holding off an army of Canadian sleds in the process.
Koplin was the fastest in both heats on her way to a .57 second victory over Kori Hol, who won her third straight silver medal.
Melissa Lotholz finished in the bronze medal position, just ahead of Cynthia Appiah and Bianca Ribi, who finished in fourth and fifth, respectively.
Shelby Williamson finished sixth in the second United States sled.
Koplin has 15 straight top six finishes as a women’s bobsled pilot, dating back to November 4, 2017.
