From Park City, USA
Dec. 9, 2019 – Kristi Koplin gave the United States its first North American Cup gold of the Park City stop, winning Race 3 of the 2019/2020 NAC women’s bobsled program.
Koplin and brakewoman Jasmine Jones had the second quickest start time in each heat, and on the strength of those starts slid to the fastest time in each heat to win gold.
Kori Hol finished second with the second fastest time in both heats, while Canadian teammates Melissa Lotholz and Cynthia Appiah finishing just behind her in third and fourth respectively.
American Shelby Williamson finished fifth, just ahead of Bianca Ribi in sixth.
Australia’s Ashleigh Werner finished seventh.
