(Jan. 26, 2019) – Christoph Hafer won his second straight European Cup 2-man race, taking gold in Sigulda.

The Latvian edged out Mihai Tentea for silver, while Tentea settled for bronze.
Simon Friedli, Rostislav Gaitiukevich and Hans Peter Hannighofer rounded out the top six.
Richard Oelsner finished seventh, which was enough to finish just ahead of Simon Friedli for the season-long European Cup 2-man title.
