(Jan. 19, 2019) – Thomas Kammerlander came from behind to win in Moscow.
The Austrian came into the second heat on the Sparrow Hills track in fourth place, behind Alex Gruber, Florian Glatzl and Patrick Pigneter. His second run was the quickest of the race, and enough to catapult him into the top spot.
Gruber, Glatzl, and Pigneter stayed in position on the second run, with Pigneter missing a medal by just .01.
Stefan Federer and Aleksandr Egorov rounded out the top six.
