(Jan. 6, 2018) – Christoph Hafer once again won 4-man gold in Winterberg, cruising to a .76 victory over Patrick Baumgartner.
Hafer led teammate Dennis Pihale going into the second heat. Pihale struggled and fell down the time sheet to fifth, leaving the door open for Baumgartner to take silver behind Hafer.
Richard Oelsner finished third, ahead of teammates Jonas Jannusch and Pihale. Russian Dmitriy Popov finished sixth.
