(Dec. 7, 2018) – Christine de Bruin won gold in just her second European Cup start, beating out a pair of German pilots in Altenberg.
The Canadian Olympian was the quickest in both heats on her way to a .30 of a second victory over 2017/2018 European Cup runner up Laura Nolte. Nolte’s German teammate, Christin Senkel, finished third.
Julie Johnson finished eighth for Canada.
